This part of Theotokos Books is concerned with the Creation/Evolution or "Origins" debate.
Daylight Origins Society
In 1977 John G. Campbell of Scotland founded a Counter Evolution Group, and began publishing the newsletter DAYLIGHT. Sadly, John passed away in 1986, and his periodical stopped.
In 1991 It was relaunched by Anthony Nevard of England with the new format magazine 'DAYLIGHT' and it was developed from a simple presentation format, into a quality mini magazine.
In late 2006, it was suspened from publication, as Anthony Nevard took stock, seeking new and more effective ways to promote his message.
In 2007 there was a focus on setting up a new website with all produced 'Daylight' magazines from 1977 onwards being made available for free online.
In 2011 an improved new subscribers magazine was relaunched in January under the continued direction of Anthony Nevard with additional support from an inspired and active group from Ireland.

New! Two members of the Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation, which is based in the United States, are coming to Britain, hopefully during the Easter season, to organize a series of Catholic creation seminars in England, Scotland, and Wales.
In recent years, there has been a renewed interest in examining the arguments in favour of Creation rather than evolution, so this is an excellent opportunity to hear up-to-date information about the solidity of the Catholic case for Creation.
These seminars will be presented by Hugh Owen, the director of the Kolbe Center, who will present the theological side of the arguments, along with one of the Kolbe Center's scientific advisors who will join him to give the scientific side of the arguments.
Two hour, all-day, and one and a half day seminars can be arranged.

It is a measure of how successful evolutionary propaganda has been that some might question whether there is any need to look at the idea of Creation, since surely Evolution is accepted by everyone nowadays?
However, as this section hopes to show, in reality Evolution is opposed to authentic Catholic teaching, and in fact it is the underlying principle behind the modern world's rejection of God. ... more

Answers In Genesis
This is a very well resourced Evangelical Christian site, which makes information and books etc., available to a world-wide audience. Once there you can choose your preferred language. Some caution is needed in realizing that this is an evangelical site, and thus is not necessarily fully compatible with Catholicism - but as far as can be ascertained, the majority of the material available is essentially concerned with presenting the biblical case for Creation, and this is something that any Catholic should be able to go along with. This is an example of genuine ecumenism!

Creation Rediscovered, by Gerard J. Keane
Foreword by Professor Maciej Giertych
"In clear and simple language, Gerard J. Keane reviews the present status of the Evolution-Creation controversy. I am very happy to be able to recommend this book. Indeed, Creation Rediscovered by science comes to the rescue of Christianity."
Preface by By Rev. Fr. Peter Damian Fehlner, S.T.D
"It is most important that Catholics have available to them studies of Origins such as Gerard Keane's Creation Rediscovered, which is free of errors in faith and morals and advances sound Origins arguments on the premises of Catholic theology."

Chapter 13 - The Position within Catholicism - Part Two
Review by Anthony Nevard
"Creation Rediscovered should be read by every Catholic priest, teacher and parent who is still under the delusion that the facts of modern science require a revision of Catholic doctrine relating to the origins of the World and the nature of Man."
