Theotokos Books is a new Catholic publishing company which will be publishing a number of books over the next couple of years, focusing in particular on Marian themes. But there will also be books on subjects such as the Foyers of Charity and apparition discernment, and future plans include topics such as Biblical studies and creation/evolution. The first book was a critical study of Medjugorje entitled, Understanding Medjugorje, and this is due to be published during spring 2006. It is based on the original transcripts of tape recordings of the visionaries during the first days on the visions in June 1981, and clearly illustrates the problems involved in accepting Medjugorje as genuine.
