New! Blessed Alexandrina: A living miracle of the Eucharist, by Kevin Rowles

Blessed Alexandrina Maria da Costa of Portugal (1904-1955), one of the great mystics of modern times, was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 2004. A ‘victim soul’, chosen by Christ to suffer in atonement for the sins of humanity, she was bedridden for life from the age of twenty after sustaining injuries while escaping from an attacker.

This 60 page booklet costs £1.50 / 2 euros. Please contact Kevin Rowles via: for more details. Discounts are available for purchases of 5 or more copies.

This is an excellent summary of the life of Blessed Alexandrina - why not buy a number of copies to give to friends, leave at the back of church, etc.

Some parallels between two little girls who probably couldn’t tell the time, yet who stormed eternity, and took it

This is the story of two young Catholic children of the 20th century who reached great heights of holiness despite dying in their first decade. Jacinta Marto is well known as one of the visionaries of Fatima. Less well known is Nellie Organ (Little Nellie of Holy God) from the south of Ireland who, despite the fact that she was only four years old when she died, had already been confirmed and was confessing and receiving Communion.

Sr Faustina book coverThe Life of Faustina Kowalska by Sister Sophia Michalenko - $12.99. This is a good introduction to the life and spirituality of Sister, now Saint Faustina. It details convent life and her encounters with Jesus, as well as her struggles to promote the Divine Mercy devotion, which is now making such rapid strides in the Church. It is also interesting to compare the Divine Mercy message with Fatima. Quite prophetic in the way it apparently foretells the way that Poland, particularly in the person of Pope John Paul II, would play such an important role in the Church.
