In 1999, the prayer book "I the Lord Am with You Always - Prayers and Meditations for Eucharistic Adoration," was published to be used primarily during Eucharistic adoration.

Now a second edition of the prayerbook has been produced. The first edition sold 13,000 copies across the English speaking world and there is soon to be an Italian version of the book, which is in the process of being translated.

The second edition is a larger book, and there is a chapter for children. It is still for all the faithful, to assist people making a Holy Hour in the presence of the Blessed Sacramenet, but it is also a suitable gift for those making First Communion and Confirmation.

This venture is part of the Eucharistic apostolate of the Society for Eucharistic Adoration, a lay organization founded in Sydney in 1993. All proceeds go towards the Society for Eucharistic Adoration.

The Society for Eucharistic Adoration seeks:

- to promote and encourage all forms of Eucharistic adoration and in particular, perpetual adoration wherever it is feasible.

- to provide a resource centre for advice and information on Eucharistic devotion and its promotion.

This Prayer book contains ancient and contemporary prayers and meditations for Eucharistic adoration from such sources as the Fathers of the Church, the saints, the Popes, the Second Vatican Council Documents, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The book aims to provide useful material for thought and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Chapters include the Mass, Communion, Preparation and Thanksgiving, Our Lady, Vocations. There are Benediction hymns and other Eucharistic hymns and poems suitable for meditation.

The book has a Nihil Obstat, and Imprimatur from Cardinal E.B. Clancy, former Archbishop of Sydney.

Cardinal George Pell of Sydney stated: "The Eucharist is at the heart of our lives as Catholics and adoration of the Eucharist has been and continues to be an unrivalled source of grace and support for all who seek to follow Christ faithfully. 'I the Lord Am with You Always' is a wonderful collection of prayers, meditations and reflections on the reality of Our Lord in the Eucharist. I am sure it will be a great aid to prayer before the Blessed Sacrament."

Archbishop Barry Hickey, Archbishop of Perth stated: "I commend this book to all, especially to those who have re-discovered the beauty and joy of Eucharistic adoration, and I congratulate the Society for Eucharistic Adoration for the good work it does in spreading love of our Eucharistic Lord."

Monsignor Peter J. Elliott, Episcopal Vicar for Religious Education and author of "Ceremonies of the Modern Roman Rite" wrote: "This precious book is a treasury of Eucharistic devotion. All the richness of a tradition of prayer and living Eucharistic faith is made available from a remarkable range of sources: the liturgies and teaching of the Church, prayers and meditation of saints and scholars, hymns and poems that have risen from the hearts of believers across the centuries. At the centre of it all is the living Lord Jesus, offered, received and adored in this sacrament of His love. The scope of this book is itself a testimony to faith in Him and hope for our future."
