Fr Laurentin and Doubting Thomas/Unbelieveing Judas question

Regarding this question the particular pages from Understanding Medjugorje can be seen here.

Here is the scan of the page (laurentin.pdf) from the Laurentin/Lejeune book, Messages and Teachings of Mary at Medjugorje: Chronological Corpus of the Messages, published by the Riehle Foundation, 1988, ISBN 096188407X. It is quite clear that near the bottom of page 36 he has: "There have always been doubting Thomases. Let her come."

Now, if you look at the transcription of the tape for that day made by Fr Sivric, who was opposed to Medjugorje, (sivric.pdf), it's clear that what Ivanka actually said was: "There are always unbelieving Judases. Let her come." His book is entitled: The Hidden Side of Medjugorje, Vol 1, published by Psilog Inc., 1989, ISBN 2921010011.

This is also the case in the book by Fr Janko Bubalo, a Thousand Encounters with the Blessed Virgin Mary in Medjugorje, (first printing, 1987), in which he interviewed Vicka, the main visionary. As can be seen from the scanned page from his book, (p. 36, near the top - bubalo.pdf), she said of this incident: "There were always unfaithful Judases, but she can. Let her approach."

What clinches this point is that another writer, Daria Klanac, who is pro-Medjugorje, has also published a transcription of the tapes, which is more or less the same as Fr Sivric's, although only in French. (Aux Sources de Medjugorje, Sciences et Culture, Montreal, 1998, ISBN 2- 89092-240-5). Here is a scan from the relevant pages, (klanac.pdf), starting at the beginning of the interview on 30th June. If you look at the last of the four pages, and go to the right hand column of this, near the top (3rd paragraph down), you can see this conversation in French. It says: "Il y a toujours eu des Judas incredules. Qu'elle approche."

So the word Judas is undoubtedly there, and not Thomas, and thus it's clear that Fr Laurentin did change that word - which obviously seriously undermines his credibility. This point has been out in the public domain for nearly twenty years, since E. Michael Jones, pointed it out in his Medjugorje: the Untold Story, (1988), and repeated it in his The Medjugorje Deception: Queen of Peace, Ethnic Cleansing, Ruined Lives, p. 78, (1998).
